Tiziana Plebani is an Italian historian and writer. She holds a PhD in European Social History and has taught Conservation of Library and Archival Materials at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. She was head of the Department of History and Education at the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana. Her research focuses on book history, gender history, and the history of emotions, with particular attention to the history of Venice. With Marsilio, she published History of Venice: City of Women (2008).
