Denis Curti is the Artistic Director of Le Stanze della Fotografia and a consultant for the Fondazione di Venezia in the management of its photographic heritage. In 2015, he founded Still in Milan, a multifunctional space with a specific focus on photography. Between 2002 and 2003, he curated Sotheby’s photography auctions in Italy. From 2005 to 2014, he was the director of Contrasto-Milano. For over fifteen years, he was a photography critic for Vivimilano and Corriere della Sera. He also directed the monthly magazine Il Fotografo and currently serves as editor-in-chief of Black Camera on the digital platform of Rolling Stone Italia. He has curated several publications for Marsilio.
