Diego Chilò
Diego Chilò (1957) has been working as a designer since 1984, dealing with construction linked to the manufacturing world with the use of prefabrication. In the field of design he has collaborated and collaborates with numerous companies including Andromeda, Arcom, Arflex, Altek, Disegnoluce, Leucos, Light4, Mareco, Marino Cristal, Onoluce, Panzeri, Prandina, Sirrah, Venini. From 1996 to 2000 he developed a close artistic collaboration with the Andromeda company of Venice. In 1997 he began collaborating with architect Tobia Scarpa in the fields of architecture and industrial design. Since 2003 he has been working on the major works of the sculptor Arcangelo Sassolino. From 2006 to 2008 he collaborated with the Faculty of Industrial Design in Florence. Since 2006 he has been a member of the scientific committee of the magazine «Arte Acciaio Architettura». In 2012 he began collaborating with the company Armando Peotta srl. In 2013 he won the Chicago Athenaeum’s Good Design Award Lighting with Acqualuce per Leucos. In 2018 he participated in the collective exhibition Vetro forme, colori trasparenze e lavorazioni, a show on Murano glass, held at Villa Caldogno.
