Sharon Hecker

Sharon Hecker is an art historian, curator, and author, specializing in modern and contemporary Italian art. She graduated from Yale University and received her PhD in Art History from the University of California at Berkeley. Internationally recognized as an expert on Medardo Rosso, she is the author of several monographs, essays, catalogues and scientific studies on the artist. He has curated exhibitions at Harvard, the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and the Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in London. She taught Art History at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan, where she was academic director of IES Abroad.
