
Diane von Furstenberg
Diane von Furstenberg is a fashion designer and entrepreneur, renowned for creating the iconic "wrap dress", which became a fashion symbol of the 1970s and a representation of women's empowerment. After studying at the University of Geneva, she moved to New York, where she founded her own fashion brand. In 2005, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), which she chaired from 2006 to 2019. With Marsilio, she published The Woman I Wanted to Be (2015).
