Dries Van Noten is a Belgian designer who launched his first men's fashion line in 1986, founding his eponymous brand.

In 2024, after a nearly forty-year career in the fashion world, Van Noten announced his retirement from the brand, closing his latest collection with the men's Spring/Summer 2025 line. A year later, in May 2025, he purchased Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice with his partner Patrick Vangheluwe, now the headquarters of his Foundation.
