Fabrizio Plessi
Fabrizio Plessi is one of the pioneers of Italian video art: his first video installation dates back to 1974. His numerous participations in the Venice Biennale since 1970, as well as in film festivals and international dance productions, have established him as an artist capable of creating innovative and pioneering experiments. He has held over four hundred solo exhibitions in leading international museums, from the Centre Pompidou in Paris to the Guggenheim in New York and Bilbao, from the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome to the Martin Gropius Bau in Berlin.
