Gražina Subelyte
Gražina Subelyte is curator at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, where she conducts research and writing for the permanent collection, in close synergy with the department responsible for conservation, as well as curating temporary exhibitions. Specializing in Surrealism and 20th-century art, her work combines academic research with the management of major international exhibition projects. Author and co-author of numerous essays and catalogues –including new guide to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection– she worked on the project presented by the catalogue in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts in London and the Guggenheim New York.
