Marsilio Arte has implemented a management system based on the recognition of Equal Opportunities and Gender Equality in accordance with the requirements of UNI PdR 125/2022.
“Gender equality is a fundamental right, stated in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations (1948), which requires the absence of obstacles to equal dignity and equal conditions between men and women in law, politics, society, or work.”
Our company, in terms of gender equality, aims to create and maintain over time conditions in which all the people working with us receive equal treatment, with equal access to resources and opportunities regardless of gender, and a working environment free from discrimination, violence, or harassment of any kind based on gender.
UNI/PdR 125 of 2022, titled: “Guidelines on the gender equality management system which provides for the adoption of specific KPIs (Key Performances Indicators) relating to gender equality policies in organisations” serves as a guide for a gender equality management system.
It includes the measurement, reporting, and evaluation of gender-related data within organizations, with the goal of closing existing gaps, as well as incorporating the new gender equality model into the DNA of organizations to produce sustainable and long-lasting change over time.
The reference practice identifies six strategic areas:
● Culture and strategy
● Governance
● Human resource management processes
● Gender-neutral career growth opportunities within the company
● Gender pay equity
● Parenthood protection and work-life balance.
Marsilio Arte has therefore established policies, procedures, practices, and codes of conduct that ensure compliance with the principles of Gender Equality as set out in UNI/Pdr 125/2022.
Our Company has decided to submit its Gender Equality Management System to specific verification and certification by a third-party body
