The concept of landscape is increasingly becoming a value that reflects our time, capable of encompassing cities, architecture, nature, stories, people, and diverse identities in a circular and inclusive perspective. This publication is part of the new series dedicated to the UNESCO sites of the Veneto Region, inaugurated with the first volume The Prosecco Hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, which offers the public an unprecedented, contemporary, and emotional narrative. It aims to convey that sense of wonder we all need to rekindle our love for our landscapes and to care for them. The project, which will conclude next year, includes three volumes, co-published with the Veneto Region, dedicated respectively to the Prosecco Hills, the Venice Lagoon, and the Dolomites. Each volume is entrusted to a narrator and a photographer who work together to offer a portrait of landscapes, places, artifacts, and communities, illustrating both the uniqueness of the UNESCO site and its importance as a common good to be preserved.
